Pakistan Oil & Gas Industry Trade Show

Oil exploration in Pakistan has shifted into high gear, following the recent signing of exploration and production sharing agreements with a large number of international oil & gas firms. The country is now subject to some form of exploration activity, apart from two remaining blocks.

Extensive efforts to boost oil production are also underway, with the implementation of various enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques in many mature fields. To enable it to focus on its portfolio of large oil production fields, Pakistan Petroleum Dept. has recently signed agreements with other companies for the development of its clusters of small fields.

All these developments are fuelling substantial demand for the entire range of oilfield supplies and services, making Oil & Gas Asia an ideal venue to showcase what your company can offer to the Pakistan's oil & gas industry.

Gas Production & Consumption Rise Rapidly

Pakistan has emerged as a major international exporter and consumer of natural gas. Extensive gas exploration is in progress in many parts of the country, while production is continuously posting unprecedented growth. Consider the following:

The Pakistan's natural gas production soared by 25.2 percent during the first half of 2014, compared to the same period last year. Total gas production reached 498,957 million cubic feet from June to December 2014. Pakistan currently exports up to 6 million tons of Liquid Natural Gas to many countries. Gas supplies from Petroleum Development Pakistan rose to over 30 million cubic meters per day in 2014.
